ANC to visit communities affected by the heavy storms in CT

Hundreds of homes were flooded as rains and heavy storms hit Cape Town on Friday afternoon, resulting in a lot of destruction, particularly in the poor Communities and informal settlements.

Worst affected areas Macassar, Khayelitsha, Philippi and Marcus Garvey. Over 150 homes have been destroyed. All communities were affected yesterday by the heavy winds and rain, including Constantia, Fish Hoek, Wynberg and others.

The ANC, in partnership with local businesses will be visiting various communities today and tomorrow in order to bring much needed relief in these affected communities.
