The Democratic Alliance has asked
Public Protector Thuli Madonsela to investigate the failure of maintenance
courts.
DA’s Cameron Arendse said under the
investigation, the Public Protector is urged to lodge a full-scale examination
on the Department of Justice and Constitutional development.
Arendse added this would provide
immediate and satisfactory relief to maintenance beneficiaries who rely on this
for financial support.
