The South African Transport and Allied Workers Union has distanced itself from the reports that they planned a nationwide strike tomorrow.

Acting Satawu Spokesperson Vincent Masoga said there are those seeking to sow confusion to the South African motorists, by spreading false reports.

Masoga also said they are going to be opening a case, so that these reports can be investigated and those responsible should be charged.

Satawu negotiators together with other unions are still in the negotiations with the employer representatives at the bargaining council offices in Johannesburg.

He added that they strongly believe that today’s discussions will bring a solution to the current strike and the members can return to work and bring back the South African economy to normality.
