26 Bokoni miners remain in police custody

Twenty six miners arrested for public violence at the Bokoni Platinum mine in Limpopo will remain in police custody.

More than 70 striking workers were arrested over the past two days.

They are facing charges of among others, public violence, arson and malicious damage to property charges.A group of mineworkers pitched up at court, to support their colleagues.

Police were out in their numbers. Their case was postponed to next week for further investigations.
