A six year-old boy died in an accident

A six-year-old boy has died while three others were left seriously injured in a head-on smash on the N2 near Mandeni.

It is believed that the child had been ejected from the vehicle on impact causing severer injuries.

Netcare 911 Chris Botha said two trucks collided head-on and the child was ejected.

Botha added that the other three people were stabilized on the scene and transported to hospital.
