The National Sea Rescue Institute
responded an incident where a kite-surfer was in difficulty off shore of Strandkombuis
NSRI Yzerfontein volunteer sea
rescue crew launched a sea rescue operation immediately.
NSRI Spokesperson Craig Lambinon said
the crew found the surfer had managed to reach the shore safely.
“He was not injured and required no further
assistance” Lambinon added.
