Netcare paramedics attended to an incident on the R102 near Ballito.
A female believed to be in her 50’s sustained critical injuries after a partial head-on-collision this morning.
The exact details of the accident are still unclear at this stage but an investigation is underway.
Netcare’s Chris Botha said paramedics had to use the Jaw of Life to extricate the injured passenger.
Botha added that she was stabilized at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital.
