Two boys drowned in a quarry in the North West

Two boys aged 14 and 17-years-old on Sunday afternoon drowned in a quarry in the North West. 

The circumstances surrounding the drowning are being investigated and a case has been opened. 

Sergeant Kealeboga Molale said it is alleged that the four boys were swimming at the dam, two of them drowned and the other two managed to alert the police.

Molale added that the investigation continues.
