Caster Semenya has been cleared by the International Association of Athletics Federation.

Semenya can now finally compete with females.

The last time the world saw Caster in action was when she won the African Championships in Mauritius in a stunning world breaking record of 1min56.72 sec. This was a few weeks before she took the world title in an incredible time of 1min55.45sec.

Caster Semenya was excluded from competing since August last year, following a gender verification probe.

Caster can now compete but she will be watched very closely. She will be monitored on an ongoing basis when she competes, so that she won’t have an unfair advantage over the people she will be competing with.

The International Association of Athletics Federation and South African authorities will make an announcement in a couple of days.

Caster Semenya is likely to make a comeback in the Commonwealth Games which will take place in Delhi in October.
