Lusanda Bill
6 July 2010

President Jacob Zuma made an announcement yesterday stating that a land in Sweetwater’s Johannesburg will be available.

The land is worth 12 million rands. Four thousands homes will be built in SweetWaters.

Yesterday President Zuma handed over three fully furnished, two bedrooms homes. The homes that the residents were given also have electricity.

The handover of the homes is part of an initiative between numerous people and organisations including President Jacob Zuma, SABC and African musicians who are supporting the fight against HIV and AIDS.

The SABC Chief Executive Solly Mokoetle said yesterday at the handover in SweetWaters that the President Zuma will deliver fifty houses in the next three years across the country, and this will lead to a delivery of four hundred and fifty thousand houses in three years time.
