Police raided drug den Senator Park in the city over the weekend and confiscated a stash of dagga, tik, heroin and suspected stolen items including a bank card and a golf bag.
The police say they have adopted a no-nonsense approach when it comes to Senator Park and other unknown drug dens in an attempt to staunch the growing distribution of illegal substances.
Metro Police Chief Yolanda Faro said “We will raid you over and over again until you give up and move way. We will not get tired and we will make you give up. “
Faro said through constant raids, the Merto Police were building up profiles of drug dens in the city and identifying patterns of drug distribution.
However, no arrests were made during the operation.
