The South African Revenue Services has issued a final warning to taxpayers who failed to submit their tax returns.

As of September this year taxpayers could face harsh administrative penalties.
These penalties will be withdrawn directly from taxpayer’s bank accounts.

However, SARS Commisioner Oupa Magashula says this would be a last resort.

Oupa Magashula is the Sars Commissioner... Please can you put the title. It reads as though he is a media officer.

Thank you,
