The ship which was carrying oil was sailing from India to Brazil.

NSRI Spokesperson Craig Lambinon said the first patient was a male who had suffered paralysis from the waist down, he was lifted off the ship and transported by EMS ambulance to hospital in a stable condition.

Lambinon added the second patient was a male who had fallen aboard a second ship, he was taken off the ship by NSRI rescue craft and was bought to shore in a stable condition and was transported to the nearest hospital.
