ER24 paramedics rushed to an accident scene in Woodstock whereby a vehicle was alight.

Paramedics Spokesperson Luyanda Majija said four people were fortunate to escape the aggression of a burning vehicle.

Mjajija said when ER24 paramedics arrived on scene, the vehicle was well alight and all it’s occupants sitting on the road.

“One woman was seriously injured whilst her fellow travelers sustained moderate and minor injuries. It is alleged that the vehicle crashed into the road barrier after the driver lost control of it.

The male occupants managed to pull themselves out of the vehicle whereas the woman was pulled out by a motorcyclist moments before the vehicle burst into flames.” Majija added.

The patients were transported to nearby hospital for urgent medical care. The exact cause of the collision is currently under investigation.
