Minister of Home Affairs Naledi Pandor on Thursday officially opened a new Home Affairs office in Mossel Bay to improve service delivery.

Pandor said this is part of government’s drive to improve quality of services especially for people in remote and rural parts of the country.

Pandor said as the ANC government we have a target of ensuring that services to our communities are at least within a 25km range or less.

We trying to ensure that where we have multi purpose centres to centres such as this one, we have service officers that are closest to communities Pandor said.

So really it’s to bring services closer to the people Pandor added.
