The South African Communist Party in the Western Cape on Friday embarked on a march to the Provincial Legislature over service delivery.

SACP Provincial Spokesperson Masonwabe Sokoyi said as a party they have witnessed the divisive development pattern that has since reduced the working class to sub-human living conditions, which is unacceptable.

Sokoyi said the masses of our people in the province have nothing to celebrate as they are still subjected to policies that colonel and apartheid segregation under the DA government.

“For the people of the Western Cape, the workers and the poor have witnessed and experienced first hand the nature of how the DA treats people in this province” Sokoyi added.
