Government encouraging South Africans to vote

Government has encouraged all South Africans to go out and vote on the 7th of May. 

Acting GCIS CEO Phumla Williams said this is another important opportunity for South African voters to determine the future of this country. 

Williams added that safety of voters when going to vote on the 7th of May is government’s main priority. 

“As government we also want to assure the public that they will be able to vote in a secure environment. The police and the security cluster ministers have been all out making sure that the security is in place the environment is conducive for all South Africans to vote,” Williams added

On the 7th of May have been declared as Public holiday we therefore urge South Africans to use the day to make sure that they excise their right to vote.
