Taxi crash near Langa leaves 16 injured

Sixteen people were left injured this is after the taxi they were in lost control and overturned on the N2 near the Bunga offramp in Cape Town.  The exact details of the cause of the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.

ER24 Spokesperson Russel Meiring said ER 24 paramedics responded through the heavy traffic to discover the taxi resting on its side in the fast lane.

Meiring added that some motorists were gathered to offer their assistance to the injured on scene. Paramedics found sixteen commuters sustained injuries from minor to moderate.

“They were treated on scene and thereafter transported to various hospitals for further medical treatment “said Meiring
