Two suspects aged 22 and 27-years-old were arrested by the Durban Crime Intelligence for being in possession of illegal firearms and ammunition in Umlazi area.
Captain Thulani Zwane said the members
spotted the suspects in the area and proceeded to search them. Police found two
illegal firearms a 38 revolver and a 9mm pistol with ammunition.
Zwane said these firearms have been sent
for ballistic test to found out if they were used in any other crime in the province.
The two are expected to appear in the Umlazi Magistrate
