A 35 year old man is expected to appear in the Paarl Magistrates Court on a murder charge after a 31 year old woman was stabbed to death at Stellenbosch train station yesterday.
Police spokesperson Captain René Matthee says according to the suspect, he and the deceased, Tina Nolubabalo, 31 years old of Khayalitsha, were family members of each other.
Matthee says the murder is still investigated by the police.
“The man from Khayamnandi is expected to appear in the Paarl Magistrate’s Court soon.
“The suspect will remain in custody until he appears in court,” said Matthee.
