Two armed suspects made off with R15 400 after they robbed a supermarket in Durbanville yesterday.
Sergeant Bernice Laäs-Bezuidenhout says the two entered the Sonstraal Superette in Hebron Street and held the manager and cashier at gunpoint and demanded they open the cash register.
“They both had beanies on with safety hats. They fled with an unknown vehicle,” said Laas-Bezuidenhout.
No one was injured in the incident. No arrests have been made yet.
Police are investigating a case of business robbery .
