12 Foreigners released

Seven Russians, Two Ukrainians, two Germans and a Lithuanian were released yesterday after they were taken hostage by Nigerian gunmen.

The Nigerian gunmen attacked the foreigner’s cargo vessels in what is known as Africa’s biggest oil and gas industry of Niger Delta, two days ago.

The hostages were released yesterday unharmed expect for the Latvian worker who got injured in the attack but was not taken by the gunmen.

What is still not known thou is if a ransom was demanded by the Nigerian gunmen in order for the hostages to be released?
