The National Union of Mineworkers is calling on its members to remain disciplined. NUM’s Lesiba Seshoka says reports of intimidation have been received at some power stations.
Seshoka says the union is busy with what he calls “do or die wage talks” with Eskom at the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration.
The way forward will be announced tomorrow. Unions expressed their outrage yesterday at reports that members of Eskom’s executive committee had received average increases of 83-percent.
