An accident in Maccasar claimed the lives of 4 people

Four people died in a collision between three cars on the N2 in Maccasar. 

Emergency Services had to remove three adults from the wreckage of two cars that appeared to be wrapped around separate trees. 

EMS spokesperson Keri Davids said four adults were declared dead on arrival, three were in a critical condition and two suffered serious injuries.

Injured patients were transported to various hospitals in the province.
