The Cape Town truck driver who was hit by a stone in his head has died.
Doctors on Monday declared Gary Stewart brain dead. It is alleged that a stone was thrown through his window screen and hit the back of his head.
Meanwhile the South African Municipal Workers Union said they have no choice but to strike.
National spokesperson for Samwu, Tahir Sema, said a nationwide strike could start as soon as next week.
