The Department of Trade and Industry has published the Lottery policy review document, which allows the public to voice out their views and concerns with regards to the running of the National Lottery Board.
The proposal has been welcomed by other organisations.
Democratic Alliance Communications Officer Cameron Arendse said the distribution agencies should be appointed based on skills, expertise and availability to serve on full time basis.
Arendse also said the distribution agencies must account operationally from the NLBTF.
