South African Transport and Allied Workers’
Union today expressed shock over the employers walking away from
negotiation table.
The meeting was held on Tuesday at the
bargaining council.
SATAWU’s Acting National Spokesperson
Vincent Masoga said they are hopeful that all parties would come to a
consensus.
Mosoga added that SATAWU will continue with
the strike and are looking forward to a secondary solidarity strike by the
freight and ports sectors.
