Two trucks set alight in Cape Town

The trucks drivers strike has been overwhelmed by violence in Gauteng and Cape Town.

Today two more incidents of trucks set alight were reported.

A delivery truck was set alight in Duinefontein near Phillipi this morning.

Police Spokesperson, Captain FC Wyk said a 59 year-old truck driver was slightly injured in his right knee and arm.

Van Wyk said the other driver,a 51 year-old was also slightly injured.

Van Wyk added that a case of arson and damage to property has been opened and no one has been arrested.
