DA leader Helen Zille has invited President Jacob Zuma to join her for a debate on the South African economy.
Zille said in a statement today that the last few months will be remembered as one of the most challenging times in the country’s democratic history.
She says South Africans are deeply concerned about the state of the economy.
Zille’s Chief of Staff Geordin Hill-Lewis explains why she is suggesting the debate.
