MEC urge tourism business to be serious

Western Cape MEC for Finance, Economic Development and Tourism Alan Winde has urged the sector that runs tourism destinations and tourist attractions to be serious about business.

During the festive season, the influx of visitors into the province creates jobs and growth in the economy.

Alan Winde said, what is needed is for the industry players to be professionals and offer great services.

Winde added that the economy in South Africa is under pressure at the moment, and the way to change that is to ensure to offer great service.
