The African National Congress has urged Democratic Alliance leader Helen Zille to come clean on the confessed corruption with tender rigging, collusion for kickbacks and price fixing with the building of the Cape Town Stadium.

The ANC stated the stadium construction was approved and built by the city council under Zille’s watch, as mayor.

ANC Spokesperson Cobus Grobbler said that some business people have confessed that they acted corruptively with massive tender rigging, collusion for kickbacks and price fixing with the building of the Cape Town Stadium amongst others.

Grobbler says this stadium was build under the mayor of the time Helen Zille’s watch therefore she has to explain quite a few things amongst others the business people said they paid bribes.

Gobbler adds that the DA must also tell the ANC whether they received any so called donation directly or indirectly from any of these companies that are mentioned or any of the related projects.
