The United Democratic Movement President Bantu Holomisa on Sunday held a Provincial Council in the Eastern Cape.

Holomisa said the country nears the end of the first term of Jacob Zuma as the President, who repeatedly committed his government to address high levels of poverty, to create jobs and eradicate corruption but nothing much has changed under at his helm.

Holomisa said one can not say they are fighting corruption whilst they have a hand in the cookie jar.

On Sunday media reports revealed that Communications Minister Dina Pule's boyfriend received a multimillion rand pay cheque in management fees for the ICT Indaba that was held in Cape Town in 2012.

He added that it now becomes apparent what the obsession with the Information Bill was.
