The Western Cape Social Economic Development Forum has called South Africans to boycott Pioneer Foods and their products starting today.

Companies have also been called to sign up to the Economic Equality Charter and be part of creating the solution to economic inequality in the country.

Social Economic Development Forum Spokesperson Christopher Ross said Pioneer Foods has been identified as a company whose business practices have negatively impacted the people of this country.

Ross said they are trying to let everyone in the country know that things have changed and this is the only way to speak out against the exploitation of consumers.
