Body found off Durban coast

The body of an unidentified man has been found floating off the Durban North coast.

National Sea Rescue Institute Spokesperson Craig Lambinon said the police search and rescue joined NSRI on arrival on scene the body was recovered by police search and rescue and brought back to the seriously base in Durban.

“The body of an unidentified male, estimated to be aged in his 20s, the body, found about 3.7km from the shore, where the body was handed into the care of Forensic Pathology Services.” Lambinon added.

Police have opened an inquest docket.
