One dead, two injured after taxi crashes into stationary trailer, near Beaufort West

One person has died and two others slightly injured, when the minibus taxi they were travelling in, crashed into a stationery trailer of another taxi, on the N1 just outside Beaufort West, on Saturday morning.

The Western Cape's Mobility Departmental spokesperson, Jandrè Bakker said the taxi was carrying 14 adults and 3 children, and was on its way to the Eastern Cape.

‘’We ask road users to pass the scene with caution, and not to stop or rubberneck, as it could lead to traffic delays on a day we expect high traffic volumes."

Sadly, the department has recorded one death per day, since Thursday, due to crashes.
