SA elected as chair of the African Correctional Services Association

South Africa has been selected as Chair of the African national Correctional Services Association.

He was among one of twenty four representatives who attended the conference in New York. 

Spokesperson for the Department Logan Maistry said by South Africa being elected the African national Correctional Services Association recognises the significant role played by the country.

Maistry added that they will use the position to enhance correctional services on the continent.
