Leonie Pretorius

Communications Minister Faith Muthambi has dismissed concerns that censorship has been implemented at the South African Broadcasting Corporation.

She addressed a community newspaper meeting in Pretoria yesterday.
Muthambi re-iterated that the SABC informs and educates people as compared to mainstream media.

She says she doesn't understand why there has been a hype about alleged censorship at the public broadcaster.
