Truck jack-knifes injuring driver

A man believed to be in his 40’s was left injured this morning after the truck he was driving jack-knifed on the Beaden Powell Road near the Vlaeberg Road in Stellenbosch in the Western Cape

ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring explains:

“ER24 Paramedics arrived on the scene after 09:00 this morning and found the man lying on the pavement surrounded by a number of local authority members.

On assessment we discovered that the man had sustained only moderate injuries in this incident.

He was treated for his injuries and thereafter transported to a nearby hospital for further assessment.

The exact cause of the incident is yet unknown.”
