The National Sea Rescue Institute, police and other rescue services have prolonged their search for an angler who is believed to have drowned at Ballot Bay near the Wilderness in the Southern Cape.
The mans body washed off the rocks at the Bay. NSRI spokesperson Hennie Niehaus says efforts to find the angler in the sea failed.
The victims name is not known at this stage.
