The African Christian Democratic Party in the Western Cape has welcomed the one million-Rand investment by the City of Cape Town into the wood manufacturing industry.

The investment is towards skills development and business training for entrepreneurs in the industry.

ACDP Provincial Leader Ferlon Christians said this investment will play a major role in alleviating poverty.

Christians said the City came along with  a great partnership that is going to invest some money to help our unskilled and to take back the wood manufacturing to another level.

“We believe it’s a great investment and we are glad the City has joined hands in order to make this possible for our people.” Christians added
