The Opposition to Urban Tolling Alliance has welcomed the turn-around by the South African National Roads Agency Limited to make submissions to the Gauteng e-toll review panel.

Outa’s John Clarke said they hope that Sanral will now start to participate in live panel discussions to answer their critics and the public on the many questions which they have simply ignored.

Clarke said Sanral has now come around and realised that the Gauteng e-toll review panel is worthwhile and we are glad that they will make a submission.

“We are asking for the minister and the Sanral board and the finance portfolio committee to respond to the serious issues of e-tolls in due course” Clarke added.
