Mdantsane Crime Prevention arrest three suspects for possession of mandrax and dagga

In preparation for the festive season the Mdantsane Police Cluster conducted several operations to identify hotspots in the area.

During the operation police arrested three suspects for being in possession of drugs. 

They are all expected to appear in court soon. 

Lieutenant Nkosikho Mzuku said Members pounced on three suspects unexpectedly, after intelligence led investigations it was established that the suspects were selling drugs from their home.

Mzuku said the suspects are aged between 24 and 26 years old respectively.

Mzuku said Police confiscated 38 Mandrax tablets and 15 dagga bompies, with an estimated street value of R1, 500.

“The three suspects are due to appear in the Mdantsane Magistrates’ Court soon on charges of drug dealing and possession Mzuku added.
