The Congress of South African Trade Union in the Western Cape said it will be targeting with strikes and boycotts the Neasa companies who lock out workers.

Some members of the National Union of Metal of South Africa were locked out of the companies that did not agree to the wage deal signed on Monday.

Cosatu’s Tony Ehrenreich said it is clear that many of the small companies remain racist in their attitude in paying minimum wages.

He added that Cosatu want the minimum supply and if that does not happen they will take action against those companies and they should close down.
