The Public Transport Voice has
condemned the acts of violence which occurred last week in Khayelitsha whereby
a train was torched.
The organisation has called for calm
and an initiation of workable solutions to all parties affected by the
violence.
Last week Metrorail suspended the
service in Khayelitsha until the damaged had been assessed.
PTV’s Simo Sitandathu said what they
saw around Nkanini Informal Setlements was very bad and the PTV does not
believe in violence and something about this anarchy.
