Outraged over the illegal invasion of land
in Phillipi which is being for initiation. Traditional Surgeon Sikelela Zokufa
has labelled it as disrespecting the Xhosa culture.
The land was invaded by a group of people
allegedly Sesikhona members. Zokufa has
called on the Western Cape Metro Municipality
Zokufa said there were three huts with the
boys under the process of initiation. I am questioning Ses’skhona leaders about
why they allowed community members or backyarders to invade that piece of land.
“It tells me that they (Ses’khona) do not
respect us and our culture.” Zokufa added.
