Schafer will today be launching the new online database for learner placement
for the 2015 school year.

Shelver said the database will generate a list of unplaced learners and also
indicate available spaces per grade at each school in the province.
Shelver said in previous years the
department always had problems with the duplication data and some learners
registering at more than one school.
She added that the new system can
not duplicate data in a day to day as it refers the learner at specific school
with spaces.
