Two people died in an accident in Grahamstown

An accident late last night on the N2 outside Grahamstown left two people dead and four others injured. 

This is after two vehciles collided head-on. 

Netcare 911 Spokesperson Chris Botha said when paramiedics arrived on the scene they found that a male and a female tragically died on scene due to the very extensive injuries that they sustained.

Botha said two of the four people that were injured were critical.  They were treated on scene before being transported to hospital for further medical care.

The exact details of the cause of the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.
