Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa is today expected to address the Gauteng Social Cohesion Summit which is being held in Boksburg.
The summit is hosted under the theme “Taking
South Africa forward towards a radical social transformation”. Minister of Arts
and Culture Nathi Mthethwa is also expected to address the summit.
Deputy President Spokesperson Ronnie
Mamoepa said five commissions focusing on different issues will be convened at
the summit.
Mamoepa said these include driving the
principles of humanity and active citizenry, enhancing public service delivery,
ensuring unity in diversity, response to the Millennium Development Goals and
building a progressive nation beyond 20 years of democracy.
