The African Christian Democratic Party in the Western Cape today said it is pleased that the South African National Roads Agency Limited are taking action to address the attacks of motorists on the N2.

This is after several drivers have been attacked in the past two weeks on the N2.

This prompted the Western Cape MEC of Community Safety Dan Plato to call for more patrol police on the highway.

ADCP Provincial Leader Ferlon Christians said motorist have now complained.

Christians said Sanral is now going to look at CCTV cameras and fencing but what are really concerned about are the motorists who are driving.

“We are happy that Sanral is taking action which will help us immense but our main concern is making sure further measures are put in place for the motorist’s safety Christians added.
