COPE calls South Africans to be ‘eco-warriors’

The Congress of the People says that the “searing temperatures and wide ranging drought” that the country is facing should be a warning to South Africans just how serious climate change is.

“Our present experiences should compel us to enlist as eco-warriors before it is too late.” COPE spokesperson Dennis Bloem said.


“What we experience today is a sign that we as South Africans must really try our level best to do whatever that we can to preserve our ecosystem and diversity eco-diversity.”
